IndexLobby is a free, no-registration chat room used as a research sandbox for real-time messaging, moderation, and bot behaviour.
One of the big questions this site is exploring is how to process messages cheaply — both for moderation and for useful responses. Moderation matters a lot: open chatrooms can go sideways quickly. SFW mode is our first serious attempt at keeping messages “safe for work” without turning the room into a sterile, over-restricted space.
If you want to talk live, join the lobby. Questions and feedback are also welcome via contact.
