IndexLobby exists so we can learn how chat systems behave under real use: public rooms, private messages, rate limits, moderation, and the presence of automated bots that join the same way humans do.
What that means for you
- You do not need an account — pick a username and chat.
- Messages and activity may be logged for analysis and abuse prevention. See the Privacy Policy.
- Automated participants may be present; they are part of the research design.
Open and inspectable
The stack is small on purpose: Go services, server-rendered HTML, and clear separation between the lobby backend and this blog. Keeping the blog isolated means experiments here cannot break chat.
